Why we support Texas Children's Hospital:

The Grant-A-Starr Foundation is dedicated to advocating for organizations that focus on the advancement of diagnostic testing and programs that will make a difference to save the lives of children.

The Foundation has identified such an effort at Texas Children’s Hospital, whose world-class scientists are leading the way with a project to diagnose unknown childhood illnesses (the DUCI Project).

Since the Foundation’s inception in 2006, it has contributed to the transformation of diagnostic testing through the DUCI Project at Texas Children’s Hospital’s Molecular Microbiology Lab.
