In Honor of Princess Aaliyah's 7th birthday we ask that you please make a contribution to the Heart Center at Texas Children’s Hospital. Our goal is to raise $700 for her 7th birthday.

Aaliyah was born on February 17, 2009 and loved being a princess. She not only walked on her tippy toes but was rarely seen without a tiara or bow, perfectly coordinated outfit, and expertly manicured (by Sissy Kenya) fingers and toes! And as you can see, she was serious about her tea parties! Aaliyah had a contagious smile that left an impression with everyone she came to know. Even while she was sick living day-to-day in the Heart Center CVICU she was able to keep all of the nurses, doctors and staff smiling and laughing each day.

We realized that it was her love and compassion for others that allowed so many people to connect with her. In that spirit we ask each of you to give in her honor. Your gift not only honors Princess Aaliyah, but also helps Texas Children’s give every child the opportunity for a healthier future.  Thank you for your support!!!!

In the spirit of all things Princess - Her mom will be representing Aaliyah at the Walt DisneyWorld Princess Half Marathon on February 20, 2016 in Florida dressed as her favorite princess - Rapunzel! Yes, she is doing a tutu, long hair braid, skillet and will be accompanied by a stuffed Pascal. She will run this race in her memory filled with warm thoughts and love in her heart for the little girl she misses dearly!
