We are telling our story of our beautiful son, "Baby Ray" Gordon Skaggs Jr.

      Baby Ray was born on February 28, 2017 and passed away in his sleep on January 17, 2018 to causes still unknown. Even though, we only had our son for 10 1/2 months, it was the greatest ten and a half months of our lives, but it was too short.
       In honor of our loving angel, we are created a memorial fund in honor of him, here at Texas Children Hospital in Houston, TX. The purpose of our fund is to support the work of Dr. Miyake and the electrophysiology team in diagnosing, preventing and understanding the etiologies of unexplained death. More knowledge leads to more success. We want to help families who are also going through such loss, help them financially, and help them get answers as to what caused the death of their beloved child. Unfortunately, a lot of families cannot afford to have these expensive test done and are left with no answers. We want to help put a stop to no answers. The more money we raise, the more research and help can be provided for our families and our babies.
       We are asking to please consider donating to our fund in honor of “Baby Ray”. Anything will help. Every dollar could make a difference in someone’s life. Please help us make a difference. There is no pain, like the pain of a parent having to bury their child. Lets give other families a chance that we no longer have, and the truth is- this could happen in your family or someone you know. We want to make a difference and you can be part of this.
