I am swimming for my cousin’s daughter, Corinne, who is currently receiving care at Texas Children's Hospital.  In September of 2024, Corinne was diagnosed with a Stage IV Wilms Tumor.  Since then, she has bravely undergone surgery, radiation and chemotherapy under the expert care of the compassionate medical teams at Texas Children's Hospital. 

Her fight continues because of the life-changing work of the dedicated staff at Texas Children's Oncology Center and Surgical Research Center. 

I am humbled to swim for Corinne with the hope that the funds we raise will help bring us closer to a world where every child facing cancer receives the best care available, anywhere in the world.  

All proceeds from this event will directly benefit Texas Children's Surgical Oncology Lab, led by Dr. Sanjeev Vasudevan.  This team is at the forefront of pediatric cancer research, advancing new cures through cancer modeling, molecular profiling, and preclinical testing of promising targeted therapies - all with one goal: to save more children's lives.
